Congratulations to our inaugural Ultimate Fantasy Fighting Championship Champions, Don Bones Jones.
Don Bones Jones claims the title with 9 wins and 3 champions. The difference for the champions this year was 4 championship finishes, 7 fight bonuses and 24 points earned through top ranked P4P fighters. Don Bones Jones most importantly claims the $450 cash prize!
The season was a wrestle between Don Bones Jones, The Last Bender and, early on, Dana White Supremacists.
The Last Bender led for a majority of the year and fell away late due to inactivity in the back half of the year. Captaincy selection is ultimately what cost The Last Bender, as they selected the highest scoring fighter in the UFFC, Alex Pereira, although made Dricus du Plessis their captain.
The Dana White Supremacists strategy of recruiting the most champions backfired as O’Malley, Edwards and Grasso all lost their belts throughout the year. It was a late drop off from the Dana White Supremacists who fell to 5th at years end.
The roughie which bolted home late was The Drop Kick Murphys. They sat mid-table all year and saved their run until the final stretches of the season where they pocketed over 120 points in the final month through Alexandre Pantoja’s dominant UFC 310 victory, as well as gaining 65 points from end of season bonuses – a league best!
The most unorthodox method of team selection ended up landing Dangerous Rangerous just shy of a podium finish. The bold selections of Valentina Shevchenko, who regained her title, and Belal Muhammad, who through injury maintained his champion status to finish the year, saw Dangerous Rangerous end the year in a very impressive fourth place. His first year following the sport, could this team go all the way in 2025?
Aussie Bottom Team drafted a well-balanced team on both potential and status. The strategy failed when Alexander Volkanovski lost his title in February to Don Bones Jones’ Ilia Topuria. The team saw a mid-season lift through the BMF Championship victory for Max Holloway and recruitment of Kayla Harrison, but neither could lift their side into championship contention.
Our only international team, Trump’s Ballsack, faced an uphill battle from draft night. The strategy of making selections whilst under the influence of the devil’s lettuce was costly, with 3 fighters not returning a score in 2024. Inactivity also wreaked havoc on their side, with Khamzat Chimaev only making the walk once – against another of his fighters, as well as Tatiana Suarez not competing at all.
The Bustanutters did just that. A woeful season where they claim the inaugural wooden spoon. They did claim 5 wins, although had one too many selection blunders through fighters such as Jamahal Hill, Jailton Almeida, Benoit Saint Denis and Ikram Aliskerov. All of which the owner had to sit back and watch get brutally beaten in 2024. A change up in strategy is expected in 2025.
Last but certainly not least, the Commissioner’s side – Just Bleed. Selected on potential to finish fights and win titles, this side did neither. Inactivity was costly, with fighters from Just Bleed making the walk only 9 times, the least of the competition. A win rate of 2 from 9 was disastrous, with no victory coming after UFC 300. Captaincy selection of Magnum Zhang Weili was all that held Just Bleed off the bottom of the ladder in 2024. Through the introduction of a soon to be named Deputy Commissioner, Just Bleed expects to focus more on team performance in 2025 and stake their claim for a championship.
As we look ahead to 2025, we will welcome two new teams into the competition. A range of rule changes are soon to be announced that will enhance the overall experience and make contending for a championship more exciting.
The draft night for 2025 has been set and will be hosted on Thursday 9 January from 5.30pm at The Great Northern Hotel in Carlton North. Our interstate and international teams will be called in via videoconference.
Lastly, thank you to all of the teams for joining our first season. Some bumps and bruises along the way, but we are set up for even more fun and action in 2025! – The Commisioner.
The final wrestle to claim the inaugural Ultimate Fantasy Fighting Championship is reaching an end.
Don Bones Jones has staked their claims for the championship after their namesake Jon Jones scored 20 points via a vicious R3 KO of Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 over the weekend. The co-main saw both Dangerous Rangerous and Aussie Bottom Team net bonus points through fight of the night honours, with Charles Oliveira taking home the DEC victory for Dangerous Rangerous who continues to climb the ladder.
We’ve seen titles change hands, fights fall apart and team’s seasons be flipped on their head in the past couple months. It would take a miracle for someone to catch Don Bones Jones from here… or would it?
And just like that, we have a new leader in the Ultimate Fantasy Fighting Championship!
The Last Bender has soared into first place after their captain, Dricus du Plessis, defended his championship with a fourth round submission victory over Israel Adesanya at UFC 305. This leaves Just Bleed with next to no chance of climbing their way up the rankings in the final quarter of 2024.
The co-main event saw Don Bones Jones take a big hit after free agent Kai Kara-France returned to the UFC with a show stopping KO of Steve Erceg. Don Bones Jones suffered not only a loss, but a missed chance at both a top 5 ranking, 3 wins in one season and has dropped to second on the ladder. Tough day.
Many expected a snooze fest in this fight, but Dan Hooker was having none of it. He defended takedowns well and stopped the offensive wrestling threat of The Last Bender’s Mateusz Gamrot to claim a decision victory. It was a barnburner of a fight, with both fighters threatening to finish and ultimately receiving Fight of the Night honors.
Last but not least… well… very likely the last time he is mentioned, as Trump’s Ballsack’s Tai Tuivasa suffered his 5th consecutive loss. This time by decision, but nonetheless, very likely his last Octagon appearance.
After a little hiatus… we’re back! 14 fights have been added to the upcoming fights tab including multiple championship fights.
UFC 304 saw Dangerous Rangerous claim their biggest scalp of the year, with Belal Muhammad capturing the Welterweight title from The Dana White Supremacists’ Leon ‘Rocky’ Edwards. The nickname speaks for itself.
In the co-main event, The Drop Kick Murphys continued to surge with a first-round bonus-earning finish through interim Heavyweight champ Tom Aspinall over Trump’s Ballsack’s mid-season selection Curtis Blaydes.
The rest of the card featured decision wins for Dana White Supremacists’ Arnold Allen and Don Bones Jones’ Mohamed Mokaev, the latter of which we have seen the last of within the UFC after his antics became too much for the UFC matchmakers.
We were treated to a couple high-level fights at UFC Abu Dhabi. Umar Nurmagomedov cruised to a decision victory for The Drop Kick Murphys over Aussie Bottom Team’s Cory Sandhagen. He now sits 2nd in the rankings and primed for the next title shot. Against who will be decided next month at UFC 306.
We also saw Don Bones Jones’ Marlon Vera go up against Dangerous Rangerous’ Deiveison Figueirdo. Figgy dropped Vera for the first time in his career and won a decision victory, entering himself into the top 5 of the bantamweight rankings.
It’s now time to look ahead to UFC 305 in Perth, UFC 306 in Vegas and many other great cards over the coming months. After a relatively quiet 8 weeks for the UFC, they will bring the year home strong with some big stars in the wings waiting to fight.
Who ends up the inaugural champion of the Ultimate Fantasy Fighting Championship? We will wait and see!
We’ve reached the halfway point of the year and have two sides sitting firmly atop of the ladder. Don Bones Jones is leading with 5 wins and 3 current champs, with The Last Bender hot on their heels off the back of a huge win at UFC 303.
Before we get to that, we can’t forget the performance of Robert ‘The Reaper’ Whittaker at UFC Saudi Arabia. The Reaper took a short notice replacement on behalf of Trumps Ballsack, against The Bustanutter’s Ikram Aliskerov. It was over before you could spell Aliskerov as The Reaper ran straight through him with a sharp overhand right followed by an uppercut from hell.
In the co-main event, Just Bleed’s Sergei Pavlovich made his return to the Octagon and seemingly left his one-punch KO power at home as he was outpointed by his fellow countryman Alexander Volkov in a lackluster decision defeat.
UFC 303 was one we won’t forget for some time now. It began with the hype of a Conor McGregor return, twisted with a broken pinkie toe and pivoted back to a mega-card with the announcement of Alex ‘Poatan’ Pereira returning to take on Jiri Prochazka in the main event. The UFC were also kind enough to gift us a featherweight showdown with the surging Diego Lopes slated to taken on Brian ‘T-City’ Ortega.
The main card kicked off with a bout between The Bustanutters’ Ian Garry and Aussie Bottom Team’s MVP. A back-and-forth affair saw Garry walk away with the decision victory after leaning on his grappling attained through a camp with Dangerous Rangerous’ own Charles Oliveira.
Next up was Just Bleed’s Mayra Bueno Silva who came out against Macy Chiasson like a bull, using all the striking skills she forgot to pack in her bag with her before fighting for the title at UFC 297 earlier this year. Unfortunately for MBS, she suffered a gigantic cut to her forehead and the doctor decided he didn’t like the look of her brain and called off the fight. MBS has now slid out of the rankings, with Kayla Harrison sliding up to third and gifting Aussie Bottom Team some valuable points.
The co-main event was thrown through a blender in the 24 hours leading up to the fight. Initially, Brian Ortega couldn’t make weight so poor Diego Lopes, owned by The Drop Kick Murphys, was forced to accept the fight at lightweight. As Diego had arrived at the T-Mobile Arena, he was notified that Ortega was unwell and unable to fight. Like the true gangster he is, Lopes said get me a fight and continued on his way to warming up. Enter Dan Ige. Ige was preparing to watch the fights at home before some messages came through. He wrangled the coaching crew made up of Eric Nicsick and Sean Strickland and made his way in to co-main event International Fight Week. Both men weighed in shortly before the fight, now at 165lbs. Lopes won a comfortable first two rounds before beginning to gas in the third. Ige was pouring it on Lopes in the final round but was unable to get him out of there as Lopes secured the decision victory. A tough 24 hours for Lopes but he made it through with a tonne of brownie points in the bank with Uncle Dana.
Now for the main event. There’s not much to say here other than Alex Pereira is HIM. Pereira was accused all week of black magic and witchcraft, but quickly reminded us it is simply his Brazilian power that cannot be stoppage. The Last Bender secured another early stopped victory, along with a performance of the night bonus to rocket into outright second on the ladder. Unfortunately for Trump’s Ballsack, it looks like it’s back to the drawing board for Jiri.
That concludes a chaotic first 6 months in the competition. There’s a small break now before we head to Manchester for a giant card featuring four teams.
Who wins it from here? Can Don Bones Jones hold on to claim the inaugural championship? Can The Last Bender catch them? Can Dana White Supremacists find another gear? Can The Bustanutters lift themselves off the bottom of the ladder? 6 months is a long time in the fight world…
At UFC Fight Night: St. Louis, we saw Don Bones Jones suffer a shattering defeat, with Robelis Despaigne getting fraud checked over three rounds by Waldo Cortes-Acotsa. That’s right, who the heck is Waldo Cortes-Acosta?
Towards the top of the card, The Drop Kick Murphys cashed in with Carlos Ulberg knocking out Alonzo Menifield in mere seconds. That netted the team a R1 KO along with FOTN.
A three-week break saw us return with a monster card at UFC 302. Five teams were represented at this event in New Jersey, which saw Don Bones Jones walk away as the biggest winner. Islam Makhachev pulled off a brilliant R5 SUB to earn himself both POTN and FOTN against Dustin Poirier. Importantly, he retained his belts. Couple this with his captain double points earning and Don Bones Jones now sits clear on top of the standings by 47 points!
The remainder of the card featured Dana White Supremacists’ Sean Strickland jab his way to a victory over Aussie Bottom Team’s failed mid-season draft selection Paulo Costa.
The Bustanutters walked away with a win through a R1 SUB over Alexander Romanov. Still wasn’t enough to lift the squad off the bottom of the ladder.
UFC Fight Night: Louisville was headlined by Dangerous Rangerous’ mid-season selection, Jared Cannonier, who was finished by Nassourdine Imavov in the fourth round.
UFC Fight Night: Taira vs Perez took to the UFC Apex. Taira lifted to the occasion and earned a POTN bonus through a R2 victory over Perez. A crafty takedown attempt by Taira saw Perez suffer a brutal injury to his knee.
The next two UFC cards have suffered major changes with the withdrawals of Conor McGregor, Khamzat Chimaev and Jamahal Hill, impacting three teams. On the flip side, The Last Bender, The Bustanutters and Trump’s Ballsack all now have major opportunities ahead with potential to earn serious points over the next fortnight.
Here we are, approaching the mid-way point of the season. Can anyone catch Don Bones Jones?
The Last Bender’s first pick in the mid-season draft was a total flop, with Matheus Nicolau suffering a brutal KO loss to Alex Perez in the first main event post-draft.
UFC 301 saw three fighters compete, with The Drop Kick Murphys second pick in the mid-season draft rocketing their side up the ladder, as Michel Pereira submitted Ihor Potieria in the first round, to also earn himself a Performance of the Night bonus.
The main event saw Don Bones Jones’ Stephen Erceg challenge The Drop Kick Murphys Alexandre Pantoja for the flyweight title. A back and forth fight saw Pantoja walk away with a controversial decision victory and retain his belt. Don Bones Jones activated his robbery card, overturning the loss decision for Erceg, which gained him enough points to move to second on the ladder. Disappointingly for Erceg, he remains ranked outside the top 5 after this performance.
A mid-season draft was held today. Each team was provided with two picks and the draft order was reverse ladder.
Prior to the draft, Aussie Bottom Team had two free agency selections, delisting Brandon Moreno and Petr Yan, and drafting Kayla Harrison and Michael Chandler

UFC300 is in the books and with it comes the biggest update to the standings we have seen.
The Last Bender rocketed to top spot in the standings after collecting 3 wins, including Bo Nickal, Arman Tsarukyan, and Alex Pereira in the main event.
Aussie Bottom Team has a new champion, with Max Holloway knocking out Just Bleed’s Justin Gaethje to claim the BMF belt in one of the most shocking moments in UFC history. Max now stands on 62 points for the season and is the standout fighter so far, after claiming both the fight of the night and performance of the night bonus.
Just Bleed has lost some points through Gaethje’s KO loss, however holds onto their spot on the standings after captain Zhang Weili dominated Dangerous Rangerous’ Yan Xianon. Just Bleed put in a request for a robbery card after Xianon was choked to sleep in the first round, however this has been declined due to some members in the league’s inability to interpret the rules.
Trump’s Ballsack picked up a huge win with Jiri Prochazka annihilating his opponent on his way to a 2nd round KO and performance of the night bonus.
The Drop Kick Murphys showed how valuable Free Agency can be, after ring-in fighter Diego Lopes took only 89 seconds to knock out his opponent. Diego now has his sights set on the division’s top 5.
Dangerous Rangerous came away with 1 win from 3 fights, after Deiveson Figueiredo submitted Cody Garbrandt in the first fight of the night, before calling for a title shot in his post fight interview. Dangerous Rangerous also attempted a robbery card, after Charles Oliveira lost a split decision to Arman Tsarukyan. It was initially approved, however later overturned after the Verdict scorecards shifted 24 hours post-fight. The Commissioner has committed to utilising the Verdict scorecards immediately after the fight going forward, as the cards the next day can be skewed from the fight result.
The Bustanutters cemented their place at the bottom of the ladder, after their fighter Jamahal ‘Sweet Dreams’ Hill was sent to the shadow realm by Alex Pereira.
The Commissioner has introduced a mid-season draft, which enables every team to add two new fighters to their roster. The draft order is set by reverse draft order as of today. Each team has 60 mins per pick and the draft will stop overnight between 8am and 8pm. The draft officially begins at 1pm on Wednesday 17 April 2024.
As the Spanish would say… ‘Ay Caramba!’
This past fortnight has seen two sides suffer season-defining losses.
Trumps Ballsack performed just as you’d expect with Tai Tuivasa refusing to submit before going to sleep in the first round of his APEX main event.
Erin Blanchfield put in a Drop Kick performance on the weekend, shattering the heart of The Drop Kick Murphys manager, who watched on as their captain copped a 50-45 loss by a Frenchman.
A big post PPV update, with 9 fighters competing across 6 teams at UFC 299.
Aussie Bottom Team came away with three wins, including a big R2 KO to Dustin Poirier, netting him Fight of the Night and shifting the team up to fifth place on the ladder.
The Bustanutters had an opportunity to rocket up the ladder with two big time fights. Unfortunately for the team, they seemed to have busted their own nutters and suffered two brutal KO losses. Is this season over already?
The worst pick of the draft showed up with a new name which took some time to realise who it actually was, but the fighter FKA Chookagian put on a classic performance which saw her lose over three rounds to Maycee Barber. Trump’s Ballsack is in strife towards the bottom of the ladder.
The Last Bender cemented their spot in the top end of the standings with a huge comeback R3 KO to Jack Della Maddalena, also capturing a Performance of the Night bonus and is now ranked 5 at Welterweight.
In the main event, Dana White Supremacists held firm to deny Don Bones Jones another championship with a dominant performance by Sean O’Malley over Marlon Chito Vera. Dana White Supremacists has set up an intriguing matchup against themselves later this year as O’Malley faces next in line Merab Dvalishvili.
To round out the week, a discrepancy was picked up by the Commissioner, and Magomed Ankalaev was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus for his KO win over Johnny Walker in the main event of UFC Fight Night: Ankalaev vs Walker 2 on January 14.
Don Bones Jones picks up their third win for the year and climbs the ladder, landing 2 points short of the Dana White Supremacists. Erceg’s 2nd round KO and bonus for POTN earned 12 points.
The Drop Kick Murphys picked up 3 points through Umar Nurmagomedov’s dominant victory. They are playing the long game with Brother Umar, hoping for a number one contender fight against Cory Sandhagen later this year.
2 fights, 2 losses. Both Dana White Supremacists and Aussie Bottom Team suffer frustrating defeats at UFC Mexico. Dana White Supremacists drop down a couple points but hang onto their lead, while Aussie Bottom Team fall a spot with Brandon Moreno sliding down the rankings.
The ranking sliders have been fixed so you can now see how far up or down a fighter has moved.
First major update of the season!
Don Bones Jones rockets up the rankings, with Ilia Topuria moving up to 5th. Ilia leads the overall scoring when you take away captains, however has not been given the nod by Don Bones Jones – will that cost them come end of season?
Aussie Bottom Team is the major slider in this week’s update, with Alexander Volkanovski no longer champion. This one hurts twice as Volk is the captain of Aussie Bottom Team.
Dangerous Rangerous climbs the ladder without having a fighter step foot in the Octagon.
This week’s update sees the inclusion of ranking sliders to indicate how far a fighter has moved up or down the rankings this week.
Lastly, The Drop Kick Murphys used one of their Free Agency cards this week, getting rid of the injured Amir Albazi, bringing in the surging Diego ‘Karen’ Lopes.
Very small update due to changes in rankings.
The Last Bender rocketed up the rankings from 6th to 2nd with a big win by his captain, Dricus du Plessis.
Dana White Supremacists used their Robbery Card, scoring for a championship decision win through Sean Strickland, however he has been dropped from Champion to Ranked 1.
Both teams earned bonus points for their fighters winning Fight of the Night.
Just Bleed took a big knock early with Mayra Bueno Silva’s terrible title fight attempt.
