We are balls deep into the 2025 fight season now, and the standings are starting to take shape. A good month for Dana Whites Supremacists who have been getting disrespected in the odds this year. Ankalaev may have just locked up the Light Heavyweight Championship for the year.
My Balls Was Hot continues their impressive start to 2025 locking away another big win, but it’s still Bisping Right Eye, Shara Right Eye who remains favourite to get it done this year. Can we get any big swings in April as we are looking at a guaranteed new champion of the Featherweight division.
March Odds:
Bisping Right Eye, Shara Right Eye $4.00
My Balls Was Hot $5
The Bustanutters $7
Dana White Supremacists $7
Aussie Bottom Team $9
Dagestani Smesh Bros $10
Just Bleed $10
The Last Bender $12
Don Bones Jones $12
Dropkick Murphys $13
Dangerous Rangerous $18
After a late withdrawal in the first week, we have to wait until the PPV to see our first action of the month, this one has potential to be A tier. We have back-to-back months of local produce going for the belt so expect all of you to be at the pub for the next couple. I will be floating around Volk's pub hoping for a bar tab to be put on if he wins.
$1.68 Volkanovski (ABT) V Lopes (TBN) $2.20
The Featherweight title is up for grabs after being vacated by Ilia Topuria, which gives our local Windang boy a live chance. Lopes is one of the harder hitters the featherweight division has ever produced so we are going to be holding our breath for most of this one.
$2.25 Chandler V Pimblett (MBWH) $1.67
Odds a bit all over the shop in this one but it all comes down to how much you believe the hype train in Pimblett. Good for the company if he wins, even better for My Balls Was Hot who continues to put himself in good places for scoring points. Chandler has fought way better competition, but Pimblett’s actually winning.
$1.55 Rodriguez V Pitbull (DSB) $2.50
The commissioner and I love when someone uses a rule to their advantage and this looks to be a risk that could pay off for Dagestani Smesh Bros, a win catapults him into contention, a loss and you chuck Pitbull back in the mid-season draft. Rodriguez coming off a bad beat needs this though.
$1.28 Silva (JB) V Mitchell (DWS) $3.75
Love that Dana White Supremacists have drafted a fighter here that fit the build, whatever you are doing this day make sure you are around a TV screen for this one, this is the UFC’s answer to saying something as outrageous as Mitchell did. Instead of banning you for life, the UFC puts you up against the hardest hitter in the division and you get made to fight for your life, we will know if Mario Yamasaki is the referee as well, Dana wants him to die. Enjoy a nazi getting his head kicked in. Multi Silva by KO into Volk if you want to have the best Sunday of the year.
$5.25 Miller V Hooper (TLB) $1.16
Poor Jim Miller looks to be close to calling it a day, Hooper may be the one that does it to him as the shortest favourite on the card. Been a hell of a ride though.
$1.67 Jandiroba (TLB) V Xiaonan $2.25
The Last Bender going for a double, Jandiroba could be Weili’s last challenger in the division. Will have to win convincingly here, if Xiaonan wins could be an interesting mid-season draft play.
A pretty solid fight night card here rounding out April, some solid names on the card and a fight between two of the biggest up and comers in the division.
Garry (ABT) V Prates (BRESRA)
Should be a great fight, Garry proving he is as good as anyone in the division last fight and Prates on one of the greatest runs in the company right now. Definitely watch this one, hopefully Prates can turn it into a good striking battle.
Amorim (JB) V Viana
Just Bleed needs to start ticking some wins over, gets what looks to be a good opportunity here, should start a short favourite but is always very hard to get a read on women’s MMA.
Smith V Mingyang (DBJ)
Last year's winner Don Bones Jones has been sitting on his hands for months, finally gets a look and it couldn’t be a better one. He will enjoy this with a KO and performance of the night chance against a soon to be retired Smith.
Looking forward to these results, hopefully in line for some swings in the standings. Hopefully we get an Aussie holding a belt again.
Signing off, Deputy Commissioner, Joel Murphy.
