Commissioner's Update #8

We're already two months into our third season of the Ultimate Fantasy Fighting Championship! We've seen two big PPVs to open the Paramount Era for the UFC, and some big upsets which has torn through a couple teams.

First thing's first, we'll look at the standings after 5 events. Aussie Bottom Team is sitting strong on top of the table with a championship win and two champions on the roster. Expansion team The Pussy Pounders sits in a close second and is off to a flyer with 4 wins from 4 fights. Rumour is he's getting itchy in second and can't quite grasp why he hasn't taken the top spot yet. It's a long season and wins on the board early count! It's tight from there with no doubt a lot of movement to come over the coming month.

A big shoutout must go to our Deputy Commissioner who took over the reins of the competition and kept you all updated as we moved through the first few events. Your Commissioner has returned from a holiday and is ready to rip into Season 2026. That starts with some exciting updates to the website! The Schedule, Results and Standings pages have been updated to provide a better visual experience. Most importantly, you'll see the addition of a Fighter Stats page. This is where you can see every fighter in the competition and even filter by team or weight class to see how fighters are tracking. This is updated after every event. The total points takes into account all points earned including their current rank if ranked as a champion or in the top 5. It is a work in progress, so any feedback or ideas are welcomed! For now it is best viewed on a computer although mobile is better than it was before. You'll need to accept cookies to enable the new features.

We now look ahead to UFC 326 which sees 6 UFFC fighters across 5 teams make the walk. Just Bleed's Max Holloway defends the BMF belt against The Bustanutter's Charles Oliveira. A barnburner guaranteed! We see a middleweight matchup with big implications between The Last Bender's Caio Borralho against Reinier de Ridder who returns after a poor defeat for You Had Me At Guillotine who also has Raul Rosas Jr make the walk against the vet Rob Font. Rounding out the UFFC action is Donte Johnson for My Balls Was Hot. A few teams looking to notch their first win for the year this Sunday. A note on UFC 326 - all are welcome around to the Commissioner's house to watch Max flatline Charles.

Now a timely reminder of the different features at your disposal throughout 2026:

• Free Agency

  • Each team can access free agency three times throughout the year.

  • It can only be used if your fighter loses, is long term injured, suspended due to drugs, retires or faces a long lay off.

  • Your scores to date stand via departing fighter.

  • Free agency is only available until September 30.

• Wang Cong Card

  • The Wang Cong Card can be used by each team once throughout the year and will double the points scored by one fighter for one fight.

  • For example, you may use your Wang Cong Card on Max Holloway against Charles Oliveira for the BMF title fight. You would earn double points on whatever Max earns that night. If Max finishes Charles and earns a bonus, he would earn 25 points, with a Wang Cong Card applied, that would be 50 points. Yes - this is what the Commissioner is doing this weekend!

  • You must announce you are using your Wang Cong Card before the fight in the group chat.

• New Signings

  • Each team can sign one new fighter per year from a waiver wire, held reverse ladder order.

  • The fighter must be a new signing to the UFC.

  • The team must delist a fighter in that fighter's division to replace them.

  • New signing card must be used by September 30.

SEASON FEES DUE APRIL 30

• Last thing from me - your season fees of $100 are due April 30!

• The prize money is $600 to first place, $100 to second and the remainder goes into investing in the league and new features for the site.

• There will be docking of points for any teams who miss the April 30 payment date. Pls don't make me do that. No repeats of the last few years paying in December.
