And in the blink of an eye, we call curtains on the 2025 Ultimate Fantasy Fighting Championship season. Season 2025 was a massive jump from 2024. We increased our league by two teams, grew total fighters by 40 and doubled the amount of fights. Some things changed, as 2024 champion Don Bones Jones slid down the leaderboard, while newcomers Bisping Right Eye, Shara Right Eye and My Balls Was Hot spent most of the year at the top. Some things remained the same, as The Bustanutters claim their second CM Punk Award for finishing in bottom place.
2025 was one of the most unique UFC years we have seen, with every championship belt changing hands. UFC 323 saw the two longest standing UFC champions Merab Dvalishvili (My Balls Was Hot) and Alexandre Pantoja (Dana White Supremacists) fall at the final hurdle, creating an absolute cinematic finish to the 2025 UFFC season.
Merab was chasing his fourth win for the year, which would have well and truly tied up the championship for My Balls Was Hot. A lackluster performance against an inspiring Petr Yan (Dana White Supremacists) saw the ladder leaders slide and give up their strangehold on the competition. In the co-main event, Alexandre Pantoja suffered an early injury to hand Joshua Van (Bisping Right Eye, Shara Right Eye) not only the bantamweight championship, but also his fourth win of the year and the title of the 2025 Alex Pereira Fighter of the Year Award, scoring 125 points across the season. A remarkable effort and eclipsing Pereira's record of 109 in 2024.
What this then meant for the standings is Bisping Right Eye, Shara Right Eye rocketed into first place, securing the 2025 UFFC Championship in his first year in the competition. Congratulations to our 2025 champions! It was far from competitive at the finish line, with Bisping Right Eye, Shara Right Eye winning by a whopping 115 points from second place The Last Bender, who had a commendable season to finish where they did. This championship reign was a beautiful mix of activity, a gold prospecting draft strategy, and a little bit of help from the Commissioner with pick 1 in the draft. Bisping Right Eye, Shara Right Eye take home not only a whopping $500, but also the UFFC championship belt, to be awarded on draft night next year.
You can view the final statistics for all fighters across Season 2025 here. We will have much better functionality to view this more regularly in 2026.
So that leaves us at the end of another cracking year of UFFC action. We kick things off again in 2026 under a new UFC broadcast deal with Paramount+, bringing a new era of the UFC.
Draft night for 2026 has been set at the Great Northern Hotel from 5pm on Sunday 11 January. Attendance is mandatory to participate in the 2026 UFFC season due to next year's draft format switching to an auction. More info on this to come in early January.
Lastly, it's time to review this year. Your feedback is what will help the Commissioner to make this league better. All coaches are asked to complete this survey ASAP to support in planning for next season.
Thanks for getting involved in this season. It's a ripper way to get around the UFC and spend some time with a group of legends. Looking forward to next year.
