If you've just woken up from a 10-year coma... Yes, it really is 2025. Yes, the UFC just crowned a Featherweight turned Lightweight Double Champion. Yes, that is the Spanish Conor McGregor. Yes, he has been copying everything Conor did. No, he is yet to start his cocaine-fueled rampages. We look forward to that arc in the story of Ilia Topuria.
Congratulations to Don Bones Jones, who made a bold draft night move to retain Ilia Topuria and pass Islam Makhachev back into the draft. After the UFC's flagship International Fight Week PPV, Ilia is now the UFC's Lightweight champion, while Makhachev makes the move up to Welterweight to take on... Don Bones Jones' Jack Della Madellena.
There is some serious congestion at the top of these standings. My Balls Was Hot has been quiet since Merab's victory at UFC 316 although remains firm on top. Bisping Right Eye, Shara Right Eye retains his position in the upper part of the standings after captain Makhachev relinquishes the Lightweight strap and flyweight contender Joshua Van completes a back-to-back PPV run to go from unranked at the start of June to ranked 1 with a guaranteed title shot by the end of the month. Van also picked up his 3rd win of the year, locking in bonus points for the team at year's end.
Could we be seeing a mid-year turnaround? Dana White Supremacists have shot back up the rankings after Flyweight King Alexandre Pantoja notched his 4th title defense with a dominant submission victory over Dagestani Smesh Bros Kai Kara-France. The Smesh Bros remain in the bottom half and take a hit at their championship potential.
Not too much action from the other teams, with some slight movement mainly due to changes in UFC rankings. Check out the UFFC standings below.
A big month of action coming up with Dustin Poirier's retirement fight and a monster UFC Abu Dhabi card. Very much looking forward to a JOZBET update.
A reminder of rules at your disposal. These are available until the cut-off date of September 30.
Free Agency
Each team can access free agency twice throughout the year. It can only be used if your fighter is long term injured, suspended due to drugs, retires or faces a long layoff.
Free agency must be approved by the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner collectively, if the claim is made by the Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner, it must be a majority vote by the league.
Your scores to date stand via departing fighter.
New Signings
Each team can sign one new fighter per year from a waiver wire, held reverse ladder order.
The fighter must be a new signing to the UFC.
The team must delist a fighter in that fighter's division to replace them.
In practice, a team would message in the UFFC chat stating they would like to nominate to sign X fighter who has recently been signed by the UFC. The Commissioner will confirm their signing before inviting other teams to nominate to sign this fighter. We will commence at the top of the ladder, with each team nominating their interest. With each nomination on the ladder as we move down, the teams above are removed from the opportunity. Ultimately, the last team on the ladder has the final say.
If you require any clarification on the above rules, reach out to the Commissioner directly.
Don't forget to protect ya neck.
The Commissioner.
